CPT Patrick
Blackwell

CPT Patrick Blackwell was assigned as
Commanding Officer of the 4th Battalion in November, 2009.
In addition to his duties in the 4th BN,
he serves as the instructor of The Raider Course at the SCSG
Schools Detachment in Columbia, SC. He also serves as
A-Team Leader with the Raider Detachment.
Born in Greenville, SC, CPT
Blackwell attended the University of South Carolina holds a
B.A. in
Interdisciplinary
Studies. He enlisted as a private and chose to stay in the
enlisted ranks for a year. He was commissioned a 2LT in 2006.
His military education includes Basic Training, Officer Basic Course, The Raider Course,
Military Police Course, Traffic Control Course, the Dept. of Homeland
Security Weapons of Mass Destruction Course, the Dept. of Defense
Anti-Terrorism Training Course, Dept. of Defense
Information Assurance Awareness Course, and the DOD Designated
Approving Authority Course.
He
also holds
CERT Certification and MEMS Certification. He is also a member of the
US Naval Institute.
CPT Blackwell has previously served in the
4th BN as platoon leader in A CO, 4th BN and in 4th BN HQ as S-1,
Personnel and Administrative Officer and XO, Executive Officer.

Proficiency Ribbon (Crossed Pistols & Bronze Torch Devices),
Recruiting Achievement Ribbon, Individual Achievement Ribbon (3 Oak
